Glenn Nolan our Supervising Pharmacist in Rafter Street, is a native of Enniscorthy. In 2006 after finishing secondary school in Enniscorthy Glenn
began his pharmacy studies in the University of East Anglia. Glenn qualified with a masters in Pharmacy in 2011, that same year his college was ranked #1
school of pharmacy in the UK. Glenn’s final year thesis was dedicated to cancer research and development of a novel treatment drug. His interest in the area of cancer research continues to grow and he has developed a practical knowledge of caring for patients with cancer since moving back to his hometown.
Glenn opted to undertake his pre-registration (or training) year in hospital pharmacy rather than head straight into working in a community pharmacy environment, the idea behind this decision was to improve his clinical knowledge of serious illness and take this back to the community
pharmacy setting. He was accepted into the prestigious University of Cambridge
Hospital in 2012, where he completed his training under some of Europe’s most
distinguished doctors and pharmacists.
Glenn has worked with Grants Pharmacy for 10 years, first as Supervising Pharmacist in The Duffry, Enniscorthy and in 2018 he oversaw the establishment of a new
store in Rafter Street Enniscorthy. Glenn has extensive experience in managing the prescription requirements of St. Johns Hospital and New Haughton
in New Ross over the past 3 years. Glenn's special medical interest is in mental health awareness and treatment
